Figs Stuffed with Goat Cheese and Wrapped with Bacon

1 dozen fresh figs

1 dozen rosemary skewers

2/3 cup Ryal’s goat cheese (regular or garlic)

6 slices of bacon, cut in half

Slice the figs down the middle lengthwise and stuff them with a small amount of goat cheese; just enough to fill the fig. Wrap the stuffed fig with the half strip of bacon and skewer with a firm rosemary sprig. Broil in oven for 5-7 minutes or until bacon is crispy.

This was my mothers recipe and she never measured anything for it so use your best judgment and add seasonings according to your taste buds.
