Kale Green Smoothie Recipes

Kale is a highly nutritious leafy green to use in smoothies and is an excellent source of plant-based calcium. Here are some recipes you can try:

Pineapple-Kale

1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
1 whole apple
2 cups organic kale
1/2-3/4 cup water

Orange-Peach-Kale

1 orange, peeled
1 peach
2 cups organic kale
1/2-3/4 cup water

Banana-Orange-Kale

1 banana, peeled
1 orange, peeled
2 cups organic kale
1/2-3/4 cup water

Orange-Kiwi-Kale

1 orange, peeled
1 kiwifruit
2 cups organic kale
1/2-3/4 cup water

Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy. If you do not have kale on hand, you can substitute other greens such as spinach or chard using the same amount (ie: 2 cups of spinach instead of 2 cups kale).
