Visit the Grand Designs Show Home at Grand Designs Live

Grand Designs Live, sponsored by Kia, comes to Excel London from 4th May to 12th May. A one-stop exhibition for design inspiration to elevate your home and promote sustainable living, the show promises an immersive experience across four key sectors (build, kitchens and bathrooms, gardens and interiors) and has the debut of the London Grand Designs Show Home.

A groundbreaking build featuring cutting-edge low-carbon and renewable energy technology, the house has been designed to show how we can all take small yet impactful steps towards making homes self-sufficient and carbon neutral. Advisors from all brands featured in the house are available to speak to, and all products showcased can be bought at the show.

Eco-friendly living and sustainability are big themes for this year’s show, which features cutting-edge innovative ways to make your home more sustainable, from decarbonising heat pumps and zero-carbon heating solutions.

Taking place over nine days, the show also features a wide range of engaging talks led by renowned TV broadcaster and design expert Kevin McCloud. Visitors will have the chance to connect with specialists, architects, building suppliers, and designers to explore unique furnishings, designs, and bespoke artwork that will inspire home projects and bring visions to life.

Additional features at this year’s show include:

• Kevin’s Green Heroes – Acknowledging groundbreaking concepts and new-generation construction ideas prioritising environmental sustainability, from small-scale start-ups to big businesses. Each year, Kevin McCloud handpicks the Green Heroes shortlist to shine the spotlight on ingenious and transformative eco-friendly innovators.

• Ask an Expert—Sponsored by Schüco, this event allows visitors to discuss builds and renovation plans one-on-one with specialists in architecture, construction, finance, interior design, and, for the first time, windows and doors.
• Outdoor Living Showcase – This dedicated area features top exterior furnishing brands presenting their products in situ at the show, including Protek, which will host several expert talks from its colourful outdoor inspiration stand. The stunning Protek Woodcare ‘Show Garden’, designed by Matt Leigh from ITV’s Love Your Garden, will be unveiled live at the show.
• Green Living Live – An area dedicated solely to eco-friendly products and services from companies with sustainability at the heart of their business. Visitors can expect to find free expert advice, along with a wealth of ideas and solutions for making your home more sustainable.
• Daily Live Talks—This area features industry experts sharing invaluable insights on homes for the future with showgoers.
